The Beatrice wrestling team hosted two duals Thursday night and came out victorious in both.

The Orangemen defeated Tri County 51-24 in a make-up dual and then followed that up with a 52-27 win over Fairbury in a regularly scheduled dual.

Against Tri County, the first three matches were forfeitures. Beatrice forfeited the 285-pound division while the Trojans forfeited in the 106 and 113-pound divisions.

The first contested match of the night came at 120. Beatrice's Tanner York defeated Tri County's Grant Lewandowski by pinfall.

Drew Arnold followed that up with a 20-4 tech fall win over Tri County's Cole Reedy in the 126-pound division. In the 132-pound division, Beatrice's Trevor Reinke won by pinfall over Tri County's Caden Reedy.

In the 138-pound division, Beatrice's Cole Maschmann won by a 16-1 tech fall over Tri County's Zaid Martinez.

Tri County was able to pick up a win in the 145-pound division. Bailey Waltke defeated Jarrett Koch by pinfall. The Orangemen bounced back in the 152-pound division when Coleton Williamson beat Kanin Baker by pinfall.

In the 160-pound division, Beatrice's Brody Nelson won a 17-0 tech fall over Danny Hess. Brock Ostdiek then kept the momentum going for Beatrice with an 8-4 win over Dominic Smith in the 170-pound division.

At 182, Beatrice's Dakota Adams beat Tri County's Brandon Beeson 9-4.

The Trojans finished the dual with back-to-back wins. Brevin Damrow defeated Zach Markey by pinfall at 195 and Brandon Siebolt beat Jackson Zhang by pinfall at 220.

In the win over Fairbury, Beatrice's Bryce Karlin got things off to a good start for the Orangemen with a pinfall win over Fairbury's Autumn Branson at 106. Tanner York followed that up with a pinfall win over Fairbury's Colton Rowlett at 113.

Beatrice received forfeits at 120 and 126. At 132, Beatrice's Trevor Reinke won by pinfall over Fairbury's Brock reed. Cole Maschmann then won a 16-4 major decision over Fairbury's Devin Holiday at 138.

The Orangemen received another forfeit at 145. At 152, Beatrice's Coleton Williamson beat Fairbury's Jayden Schmidt by pinfall. Beatrice then received another forfeit at 160.

Fairbury would go on to win the last five matches of the night. Ace York defeated Brock Ostdiek by pinfall at 170 while Seth Firmanik beat Dakota Adams by pinfall at 182.

At 195, Domenic Hysonwon by pinfall over Zach Markey while Kazz Hyson defeated Jackson Zhang 5-3 at 220. Beatrice forfeited the 285-pound division to close out the night.

The Orangemen will then travel to districts next Friday and Saturday at Platteview.
