Scouting: Jordan Murphy is one of the best forwards not just in the Big Ten, but in the country. The 6-foot-7 senior is averaging a double-double this season, and had a pair of them against the Huskers last year. In Nebraska's win in Minneapolis in February, Murphy finished with 22 points and 13 rebounds. For an NU team that can struggle with post defense and defensive rebounding, Murphy is a nightmare matchup.

Trending: Minnesota is one of the best teams in the nation at drawing fouls, ranking 16th in the country and second in the Big Ten in free-throw attempts. And despite shooting just 66 percent from the line as a team, the Gophers still rank 26th nationally in free throws made. Nebraska's depth could be tested, and Tim Miles said Tuesday that defending without fouling was at the top of Nebraska's scouting report.

Forecasting: This will be Minnesota's first true home game since November 12. The Gophers will be hungry, especially after getting humbled by 20 points at Ohio State last Sunday, and with a ranked Nebraska team coming to The Barn after having won there last season. Just another hard night of work in the Big Ten.
