Two Borgmans found the winner's circle Friday night at Beatrice Speedway.

In the sports Mods division, Lance Armstrong was able to hold off Adam Armstrong for the win while Chad Borgman came away with the win in the Hobby Stock A Feature.

Jordan Grabouski was able to win the Stock Car A Feature. He tried to repeat that performance in the Modified A Feature, but was edged out by Jesse Sobbing.

In the Compact A Feature, Trenton Fugett was able to pick up the win.

Sport Mods

Travis Runcie and Lane Malchow led them out of turn four with Lee Horky, Andrew Whitmore, Craig Evers and Gary Saathoff right behind, but the caution quickly came out for Kevin Parrott, forcing a total restart.

On the green, Horky takes the led with Runcie, Whitmore, Evers and Tyler Nerud right behind. On lap two, the caution came out again for Parrot when he spun.

On the restart, Horky leds them out of turn four with Nerud taking the second spot and Runcie, Lance Borgman and Evers battled for the fourth spot. On the next lap, Evers took the third spot with Borgman and Adam Armstrong right behind him.

On lap five, Evers, Borgman and Armstrong battled for the third spot and they were three wide, but Borgman took the third spot on the back stretch. On the next lap, on the back stretch, Armstrong took the fourth spot.

With nine laps to go, the caution came out for Tyler Phelps when he spun. On the restart, Horky brought them out of turn four with Nerud, Borgman and Armstrong right behind. On the backstretch, Borgman took the second spot and on the next lap Borgman and Horky battled for the lead Coming out of turn two, Borgman took the lead from Horky.

With six laps to go, the caution came out for Malchow when he spun. Borgman led them out of turn four with Horky and Armstrong right behind.

With three laps to go, the caution came out yet again for Zachary Kucera and Alex Donovan. On the restart, Borgman led them out of turn four with Horky and Armstrong right behind him and coming out of turn two, Armstrong took the second spot. Borgman held off Armstrong for the win.

Stock Cars

Paul Burch and Jordan Junker led them out of turn four with Garrett Freese, David Sherwood, and Dustin Schmidt right behind him.

Burch took the lead and coming back around to complete turn one, the red flag came out when Sherwood got up high and caught the front stretch wall and barrel rolled down the front stretch. The car came to rest on the wheels. He was OK.

On the restart, Burch led them out of turn four with Junker in second and Kyle Vanover got through traffic and took the third spot. Freese was in the fourth spot. On lap two, Burch, Junker and Vanover battled for the lead three wide and right behind them, there was another battle going on three wide with Freese, Schmidt and Jordan Grabouski.

On lap three, Vanover took the lead coming out of turn four with Junker in the second spot and Burch in the third spot and Grabouski took the fourth spot. On the next lap, Grabouski took the third spot.

On lap six Grabouski took the second spot from Junker. With seven to go, Grabouski and Vanover battled for the lead and with six to go out of turn four, Grabouski took the lead and held Vanover off for the win.

Compacts

Noah Boller and Brook Rohr brought them out of turn four with Josh Black and Trent Fugett right behind. Boller quickly took the lead with Fugett right behind.

On lap two, Fugett took the lead from Boller. Josh Young and Shawn Hein moved up in to the third and fourth spots. On lap six, the caution came out for Hein when he got together with Boller on the front stretch and didn’t have anywhere to go and got up on the wall in turn one. He was OK and when they get him off of the wall, he drove away and tagged the back of the pack.

Fugett brought them out of turn four with Drake Bohlmeyer, Young and Devin Bruce all right behind him. Fugett built up a half straight away lead and got the win.

Hobby Stock

Ryan Roschewski and Michael Wade led them out of turn four with Chad Borgman, Jake Harms, Jeff Watts and Dylan Richards all behind.

Borgman and Harms battled for the lead and coming down the front stretch, Harms took the lead with Borgman in the second spot and Watts in the third spot.

The caution came out on lap two when Brendon Stigge got spun. On the restart, Harms led them out of turn four with Borgman, Watts and Roschewski right behind him.

Harms continued to lead until there was eight laps left and Borgman took the lead from Harms and Borgman held off Harms for the win.

Mods

Austin Svoboda and Trevor Baker led them out of turn four with Josh Blumer, Jaxon Saathoff and Shane Haitt right behind him. Svoboda took the lead.

On lap two, the caution came out for Aaron Pella and Jaxon Saathoff. On the restart, Svoboda took the lead with Blumer and Johnny Saathoff right behind.

On lap four, Johnny Saathoff took the second spot with Blumer and Jordan Grabouski right behind. On lap five, Anthony Roth went to the high side and took the third spot. Grabouski and Roth battled for position on lap seven with Grabouski holding Roth off. On lap 11, Svoboda and Johnny Saathoff battled for the lead with Roth and Grabouski battling for position right behind them.

Grabouski took the lead on lap 11 with Roth taking the second spot and Jesse Sobbing had worked his way through the pack and is battling with Johnny Saathoff for the third spot. Grabouski and Roth battled back and forth for the next several laps aand Sobbing took the third spot from Johnny Saathoff. Roth went high and got up on the wall going into turn one and rode the wall, but came off and he tried to get his spot back, but Sobbing had taken the second spot.

With two laps to go, the caution came out for Jacob Hobsheidt. On the restart, Grabouski led them out of turn four with Sobbing right on his bumper. They battle for the lead and on the last lap, Grabouski threw a slider and Sobbing got around him.

Coming back around to the checkers, Sobbing and Grabouski came together out of turn four towards the checkers and Sobbing got the win.
