Dan Nelson won the IMCA Modified A Feature Friday night at Beatrice Speedway.

Friday's races at Beatrice Speedway saw five different A Feature winners.

In the Modified Division, Dan Nelson was able to hold off Jordan Grabouski for the win. Grabouski didn't go home empty handed, though. He was able to claim the checkered flag in the Stock Car A Feature.

In the Hobby Stock A Feature, Taylor Huss was victorious while Josh Black won the Sports Compacts A Feature. Rick Rohr claimed the checkered flag in the Sports Mods A Feature.

Sports Mods

Travis Runcie and Mark Saathoff battled for the lead all the way around the race track with Andrew Whitmore and Mike Sherwood behind. Saathoff took the lead coming out of turn four with Sherwood, Whitmore and Runcie falling back to the fourth spot.

Rick Rohr made his way up through the pack and took the second spot. Saathoff led the first seven laps and on the next lap, Rohr took the lead. On the next lap, the caution came out.

On the restart, Rohr led them out of turn four with Saathoff behind and Adam Armstrong making his way up through the pack and took the third spot. Whitmore and Borgman were right behind. On the next lap, Borgman took the third spot. Armstrong and Borgman continued to battle for the second spot.

With eight laps to go, the caution came out for Borgman. On the restart, Rohr led them out of turn four with Armstrong, Lee Horky, Tyler Nerud and Whitmore right behind. Armstrong and Horky battled for the second spot for the next few laps and with four laps to go, the caution came out for Destyn Whitney.

Rohr once again led them out of turn four with Armstrong and Horky right behind. With just a couple laps left, Horky pulled off the track. Armstrong was trying to make a move on Rohr, but he held him off for the win.

Stock Car

Jordan Junker and Joe Hancock led them out of turn four and Junker quickly took the lead and Paul Burck took the second spot. Eric Bartels and Jordan Grabouski battled for the third spot, but the caution came out for David Sherwood.

On the restart, Junker led them out of turn four, but the caution came back out when Grabouski, Garrett Freese and Eric Bartels were all involved in turn two. Junker led them out of turn four with Burck, Jason Kreft, Jed Williams and Dusty Blake all behind.

On lap four, Grabouski had made his way up through the pack to take the third spot. On lap eight, Grabouski took the lead coming out of turn four. With five laps to go, the caution comes out for Hancock.

On the restart, Grabouski led them out of turn four with Burck and Junker behind. Blake then took the third spot and Grabouski held off Burck for the win.

Sport Compact

Nathan Wahlstrom and Josh Black led them out of turn four and they battled for the lead with Drake Bohlmeyer right behind. Coming back out of turn four, Black took the lead with Wahlstrom and Bohlmeyer right behind.

On lap three, Bohlmeyer took the second spot with Trent Fugett and Stephan Oaks battling for the third spot. On lap five, Oaks took the second spot. With three laps left, the caution came out for debris on the track. Black led them out of turn four and held off Oaks for the win.

Hobby Stocks

Kile Casteel and Neil Pella led them out of turn four with Michael Wade, Taylor Huss, Sillon Richards and Jacob Harms right behind. Pella quickly took the lead but had car problems, which gave Huss the lead. The caution came out on lap two for Colby Casper when he spun in turn four.

On the restart, Huss led them out of turn four with Chad Borgman, Richards, Roy Armstrong and Wade all behind. The caution came out two laps later when Brooke Fluckiger lost her motor. Huss led them out of turn four with Borgman, Armstrong, Richards and Wade all right behind.

The battle was for the second spot with Borgman and Armstrong. They battled for the next several laps and with five laps to go, Armstrong took the second spot. The caution came out with three laps to go for Casteel when he spun in turn four.

Huss brought them out of turn four while Borgman and Armstrong battled for the second spot and on the last lap, in turn two, Borgman got a little high and Armstrong was there and they tangled, which allowed Richards, Wade and Jeff Watts by.

Armstrong got his going and tried to get the fourth spot but Watts got him just by a nose. Huss got the win by several car lengths.

Mods

Jaxon Saathoff and Aaron Pella led them out of turn four and Jaxon Saathoff took the lead with Brandon Spanjer right behind. On lap three, Dan Nelson and Spanjer battled for the second spot. On the next lap, Nelson took the second spot.

On lap five, Nelson took the lead coming out of turn four. Jordan Grabouski took the second spot and tried to gain on Nelson. The caution came out on lap nine for Nick Snyder. Nelson led them out of turn four with Grabouski, Jaxon Saathoff and Spanjer right behind.

On the next lap, Anthony Roth took the third spot. With six laps to go, Nelson and Grabouski battled for the lead with Roth right behind them, but Nelson hangs on for the win.
